Wooden Dolls

Natungram Wooden Dolls
Located at an interior region of Burdwan district, Natungramharbors a unique cluster making ethnic character dolls. The items are made of wood and painted exquisitely. One of the flagship products is the wooden owl. Traditional designs in the craft items are based on culture and mythology.


Around 60 families living in the area are associated with doll making with the women population playing a key role.
